For nearly eight decades, the Phoenix Boys Choir has followed in the footsteps of the composers, educators, and pioneers whose artistry has shaped generations of singers. “Footprints” honors those enduring influences—from the timeless works of Beethoven to the powerful spiritual arrangements of Moses Hogan, from beloved folk songs to world premieres from their New Works Rising Composition Competition. Each piece is a footprint, a reminder that every song carries the stories, wisdom, and aspirations of those who came before. Together, these works celebrate the legacies that have shaped the choir while inspiring the future of choral music.
