Ilona Kubiaczyk-Adler presents a program devoted entirely to women composers, performed on the masterful Richards, Fowkes op. 14 organ. A tireless advocate for underrepresented voices, Ilona brings to this recital the same traditions of Eastern Europe and the Americas that she illuminates in her frequent concert travels on both sides of the Atlantic. Works by an international array of composers—Brenda Portman, Margaret Sandresky, Weronika Ratusinska, Lesia Dychko, Emma Lou Diemer, and Florence Price—will reveal the breadth, color, and brilliance of women’s contributions to the organ repertoire.
